Stick Lighters

Stick Lighters

A tiny little modern lighter like this we imagine you would have to keep your eye when out drinking. One lazy placement on a table and one would imagine it would be nicked before you even finished half your cigar.

Designed by Tsubato Pearl, the Stick Lighter comes in a range of fabulous colours and in a brass, lacquer or metal finish.

First up, we have one of these New York City's in A Bag, and love it. It comes with little wooden buildings including the Empire State Building and the Guggenheim and six little cars to tear around your tiny streets.

Then an ceramic cup that is NOT a paper cup made from porcelain with the nice touch of a silicone lid by designer James Burgess.

And lastly this reasonably creepy hand candle, featured in an unusual shade of green. Also comes in a bland grey, and is cast from a real hand.

Raindrops or Tear drops?

Raindrops or Tear drops?

From the wonderful ladies at Studio Violet these large vinyl drops come in sets of 9, and we have had our eyes on them for some time now.

They can be used all over the shop, on walls, doors, mirrors furniture and pretty much where ever you can think to place them.

Sure these guys may not be as detailed as these (link http://www.distillate.com.au/content/fauna-cushions) Fauna Cushions, but hey they're still cute and almost a third of the price.

Each stuffie is hand printed with an original lino cut and they are hand sewn together and then stuffed with polyfil.

Died and Gone to Toy Heaven

Arthurs Circus have some amazing little goodies. How they turn a big profit with these vintage one off items has us beat, but it's exactly this that makes us love them so.

The nostalgia brings a tear to the eye, with night lights, paper bunting, old maid cards and vintage tins.

Disposable? We Think Not

Disposable? We Think Not

We've all seen a LOT of quirky ceramic designs based on disposable items - the coffee cup, the crinkled plastic cup etc

But these these porcelain dishes modeled on tin food containers, show designer Lorena Barrezueta as having one fun sense of humour and a way with colour.

The entire collection is handmade is Lorena's studio out of Brooklyn.
