Clare Nicholson Cushions

Clare Nicholson CushionsI was discussing this with a friend the other day, about how digital printing hasn't really taken off here in Australia, which is a shame as when done well, it looks so cool.

Clare Nicholson's from England, and is onto it with these 100% cotton cushions that have been screen printed with her designs made from collages.

The reverse of each cushion is a panel of vintage fabric, making each cushion unique. A nice little touch we thought.

Don't Call Me Short

Don't Call Me ShortA few years back, you could pick up a garden gnome in Kmart for a couple of bucks. We wish we had then, as they're back in fashion for about 30 bucks.

Oh wait, no they don't just sit there, apparently these ones talk with 2 AA batteries. We wish we were joking.

Handsome little guys they are though.

Circus Violet Tea Cup and Friends

Circus Violet Tea Cup and CircusStudio Violet is pretty much a daily must visit blog for us. Femme Incredibles Camilla Engman and Elisabeth Dunker have created a collection of crockery that we don't think we can bear to be without. Each piece is a once off and is digitally printed in ceramic colours and fired into the porcelain ware. Those sweet little gold rims mean that hand washing is preferred, but who would be putting these in the dishwasher anyhow...

Mini Suitcases

Mini SuitcasesTiny suitcases for storing tiny things. Cute.

These would make for cute gift boxes, jewelry boxes, craft boxes - the list could go on.

Small suitcase AU$11.95 and large AU$21.95 from Babys Got Style

Bird Ceramics

Bird CeramicsWe think these are too beautiful. Handmade in Kent from the highest quality bone china, the birds are individually applied.

Now they're not cheap, and times are tight, but we like to think that you would invest in one piece, and then continue to grow your collection as the years wore on through birthday and Christmas gifts.

Egglicious

Bambina VesselsThese look delicious and even their colour palette sounds delicious - Strawberry, Mint, Lemon, Dusk, Lavender. You can customise your own colours inside and out, so you can mix and match or leave them snow white.

Handmade and slipcast from Matauri Bay clay (in New Zealand) they can be used as a vase, bowl, or even have a tealight candle placed within them. We say fill them with the disgustingly sweet yet annoyingly addictive Cadbury caramello eggs.

Tea Potter and the Philosophers Stone

Potter Tea PotPotter is one sharp looking tea pot. And if you're the weak soy cup-of-chino- drinking type, we suggest you snap out of it, and take up some heavenly tea drinking. Although we're huge fans of the Arne Jacobsen Cylinda Line teapot that we have here at the Distillate studio, one can never have too many tea pots...and this one's on the cards.
