These are some pretty cute baroque inspired candles from Authentics. Head to toe wax, they come in some amazing colours and burn for ever, with Romeo who is 45cm high burning for 36 hours and Julia who stands 30cm tall burning for 24 hours.

Evidently, we're rather obsessed with home wares here at Distillate, and this is our new fixation.

Pony Rider are set to make some waves on the design scene. Their first collection launched only yesterday, kicking off with Cushions and Teakins; a cute word coined by the Pony Rider girls for their hybrid in size between a tea towel and a napkin.

I apologise ahead of time. Because I know you can run down to the supermarket and pick up some crap cleaning products for about $4. And Murchison Hume isn't cheap. And once you try it you're not going to be able to live without it, and will spend your time coveting it, peeling the price tags off as soon as you get home in case your partner/flatmate/friend finds out you spent $12 on counter spray. But take it from me, they're so, so worth it.
