Through The Lens

This is sugary, sweet and feminine photography for the girls at it's best. She doesn't say a lot about herself on her sites except for that "I want to capture bent knees and sunbeams and bones and beautiful light. I take my photographs when the time is right and the sun is in the right place in the sky so they might turn out like i want them too".

Regular readers will know that we love Elisabeth Dunker (from Fine Little Day and Studio Violet fame).

She seems to be one busy lady with all that she's up to, photographing, styling, designer, running a tiny online store, working on Studio Violet projects and looking after her kids...but somehow her work always seems so serene, and expresses a delicate attention to detail that captivates us.

Sheesh, Phillip Toledano has many a website. We're unsure as to why he feels the need for so many, but his work is no even synchronized across all of them!

This series is great, all about markings made on the body by artificial objects we place there.

Oscar Wong's photostream makes me want to travel that much I'm getting a sharp pain in my chest.

Not a professional photographer but with an obviously beautiful eye for composition, Oscar works as a graphic designer in Hong Kong.

Based in New York, Amy Stein's work explores our community, culture and environment. She has lots of great series on her site, but this one was a hands down favourite.

New Yorker Anna Moller's work has a soft beauty that we very much enjoy. She recently has shot a solo project in Sweden that went on after being exhibitd to be purchase by the United Nations.

We don't know much about Fetie truth be known, as she/he doesn't have a lot on their Flickr profile page. Which we suppose could add some mystery, but is really just pretty frustrating.
Some gorgeous shots are featured on the Flickr page, and we have featured a selection of our favourite dreamlike and surreal ones.
