Tokyo Terrace was a real find for Distillate. Cause we can tell you this, finding great cocktail recipes with a decent accompanying photo is a punish. This sounds damn tasty. And like it would knock your shirt off. Ginger beer, coconut cream, lemon and orange with whiskey. Worth a try as we always look at those whole coconuts at the markets and want to buy, but wonder, seriously, what would we actually do with them once we got them home...well this is one way to deal with them.

Melbourne Cup.  A brilliant excuse to take half a day off and get tipsy. If you don't/can't get the afternoon off though, we found out that Sydney's The Victoria Room has got your back. They're offering 'The Cup Cocktail and Canape' for a tiny $12 from 5pm on, so you can catch up as fast as possible. Nice.
 
And we have The Victoria Room to thank for today's Tipple Time recipe. To shake up one of these tasty treats at your own party, simply take Beefeater Gin shaken with Amaro Montenegro Bitters, passionfruit, lemon & orange juices‚ and then serve it martini style.

We had to use this regardless really of whether we thought the recipe would work because this image is so fine and summery.
